If you're travelling with Virgin Atlantic on an upcoming flight, here's everything you need to know about Virgin Atlantic baggage allowances and fees. The baggage allowance is determined by ticket type and cabin class.
The maximum dimensions allowed on Virgin Atlantic flights are 90 x 75 x 43 cm (or 35.5 x 29.5 x 16 inches). For Virgin Atlantic baggage allowance, for each ticket class is as follows:

As per Virgin Atlantic baggage allowance, passengers can pay for multiple bags at the airport or online. Excess charges are paid in pounds sterling or US dollars, depending on whether your trip originates in the UK or the US. Allow 10 additional bags per passenger when paying at the airport.
Passengers can pay for a large amount of baggage online via Online Check-in on the Virgin Atlantic website. When you check in online via the Virgin Atlantic website or app, you can add up to seven additional bags per person before you arrive at the airport.
In Economy Class, Virgin Atlantic allows one checked bag weighing up to 23 kg (51 lbs) and one handbag weighing up to 10 kg (22 lbs). The dimensions of the bag should not exceed 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 inches).
Baggage allowance on Virgin Atlantic premium economy can check 2 pieces of luggage, up to 23 kg (51 lbs) each, and one carry-on bag up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
If your bag weighs more than 23kg, you will be charged a maximum fee of ̣̉65 (or US$100) per bag, unless you are flying in premium class plus a maximum baggage allowance of 32kg.
The weight limit of 23 kg is an industry-standard set by the International Airport Transport Association (IATA). Industry standards have been established to ensure smooth operation in aircraft.
For Virgin Atlantic hand baggage allowance, you can travel if the luggage for economy class is less than 10 kg (including economy, classic, and luxury) and less than 16 kg for upper class (for combined weight). For storage bags, as long as the bag is under 23 kg for Economy Classic and Delight, and under 32kg for Upper Class, you're good to go.
